Thanks! Btw, do you have any recommendations for a continuous glucose monitor? Attia among others is now recommending using one, I was curious if you had thoughts

I used and liked this. However, it was a problem for jiu jitsu and after about a month of using it I gleaned all of the lessons for me. It is comfortable to wear and stays on well (unless you're grappling with Dean Lister than not). Lessons: mental and physical health are one and stress spikes blood sugar. You could chart good and bad days at the office with my glucose. Protein keeps glucose steady. Carbs might as well be sugar. Why eat bread? Just eat ice cream for all your blood cares. A low-intensity activity such as a 10-minute walk with my wife, gardening, or just playing outside with the kids immediately after a mean completely moderates glucose spikes. Diabetes is terrible and pre-diabetes is a big problem but everyone can become even further away from metabolic disease with portion control, avoiding refined sugar and processed carbs, timing some exercise after meals, and (I have not figured this part out yet and fear I give back much of my gains elsewhere here) managing stress.
