The sudden onslaught of semaglutides usage seems to me to be a health crisis in the making. Who is using them, who is prescribing them, and what are the longterm health ramifications - you know... after you've lost the weight? I would imagine if/when you stop taking them, all hell breaks loose within your metabolism.
I am very concerned about this. The best use is if someone is too overweight to exercise well (can't row / cycle etc) to just lose the weight artificially so that one can then develop healthy, sustainable habits. But as a general population discipline substitute, it seems like a risky gamble with tons of unknowns.
