You are so right about variety being overrated in your diet. Every time I put weight back on after losing it its because I stray from my go to meals. If you need variety in your diet, you're not hungry enough at meal time.
Happy anniversary Vale Tudo! That is interesting that Metformin helps with longevity. I take it with B12 and am glad to know it benefits more than blood sugar!
I’m currently training for a 12 mile race this summer and supplementing with Armra Colostrum in addition to a multivitamin, extra B12, omega supplement, Polyphenol booster, magnesium bisglycinate, and a Pendulum probiotic to help with blood sugar. I’ve read a lot about the benefits of colostrum. I can’t say I have noticed anything yet but we will see.
To vary your diet or not is an interesting question. I keep reading we are supposed to get 200 different foods a month or something to benefit the microbiome. I try to mix it up with different nuts, seeds, and vegetables on my salads but my gut is also kind of a mess after lots of antibiotics when I was younger. All of that science is so new it’s hard to know if it is really that important or not.

This is such an awesome and differentiated blog. Love reading it!
That makes my day. Thanks, Dimitre!

I think it is a really promising drug for a broad group of people; some data backing that up: https://agelessrx.com/metformin-science-research
