Appreciate the content and unique approach/thoughts with the links to products, life advice and practical knowledge, the fitness stuff is motivating. Stock insights are great and appreciate. Dollar saving advice is always welcome. Keep it up and I also appreciate the 365 Substack. Health tips are always helpful.
I'd like to read more about what supplements you use and why. Especially if you do any testing. I've started using marek health for bloodwork so curious on what you do and what you do do sort out the what and why of supplementing.
Will focus on that. Short answer: yes to testing. Fairly constant blood work between at home Tasso blood tests and more comprehensive blood panels at One Medical. Between the two I'm a human pin cushion.
I really enjoy the blog! Would love some more content suited to people who might be earlier in their fitness journey (getting started, good intermediate workouts and steps to take, etc.)
It is a recent and intense interest. I occasionally have acted on my own in ways consistent with it and those have been the moments when I've been simultaneously the most productive and happiest. I more frequently have acted inconsistently with it and where I strayed (much of this before really reading much stoicism) I've always failed. I have never succeeded at more than one thing at a time and the biggest distractions are emotional, especially emotions relating to an unobtainable past and uncertain future.
Totally disagree about the gun stuff, nothing nutty about it. Keep up the 2nd Amendment talk Chris. As for taking a day off, I agree with Tony. It's important to have rest days to recover both physically and mentally.

I'm fascinated by your fascination with stoicism. Has that always been an interest? If not, when and why did you embrace that philosophy.

Very cool, Chris. I’ll put some thought into it and try to contribute.
Thanks!
I kinda like the gun nut stuff but to each his own. :)
