Testosterone has a strong impact on muscle mass and growth. It makes it easier to reduce fat. It helps aging and longevity.
To optimize my testosterone, I went on a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) called enclomiphene citrate which stimulates the production of luteinizing hormone (LH) which increases natural testosterone production.
Enclomiphene is a potent treatment:
Before I started this endocrine therapy, my LH was 4.5 (the expected value range is from 1.7-8.6 mIU/mL). After one month on a 12.5 mgs/day dose of enclomiphene, my level rose by 27% to 5.7. After a month on 25 mgs/day, my level rose another 9%. That had the impact of raising total testosterone by 2.6x in the first month and another 42% in the second for a total gain of 3.75x my original testosterone level. The impact on free testosterone (the most important stat) was even greater: free T rose 2.6x on 12.5 mg and 4.4x original T on 25 mg. This compares favorably with average results, going to well above the after treatment mean testosterone level.
In one summer, I reversed the entire impact of declining testosterone, a decline that is both age-related and generational.
I want to optimize performance – both strength and endurance – as well as optimize aging and longevity. Fixing hormone problems helps with each of these goals. Modern man is making several huge gambles with his health that are totally at odds with ancestral practices. Two of the biggest bets are high sugar and low T. They impact everything and strike me as risky and probably losing gambles. So I’m taking the steps to avoid both bets. Thanks to Dr. Cam Sepah for everything I know about testosterone; I listen to everything he says (except when he’s nagging me about taking rest days). Each of the above images are his. Disclosure: in addition to being a patient, I’m an investor in his company Maximus.
Do you combine Pregnenolone with the Enclomiphene? I have been using Preg for a while as and I see Maximus likes to use it in combo with Enclo.
My doctor perscribed Clomiphene, but I'm researching Enclomiphene as a better alternative. I wonder taking it for longer term, how did you handle the Estradiol build up over time? Your published data here is much appreciated btw.
