Well the psyllium husk powder (not regular psyllium husk) is for gravy, stew, general liquid thickening. Not for the Mash.....don't mess with the Mash! LOL. Unless of course one chooses a Halloween adaptation of....The Monster Mash.

What is your current supplement stack in addition to what you posted here?

Creatine, beta alanine, a multivitamin (heavy on vitamin D), and enclomiphene citrate in the AM and a magnesium and glycine in the PM. Not exactly a supplement, but in terms of something that I consume in addition to whole foods and water, I also have a scoop of whey in the morning and another in the afternoon. My view is that everyone should take creatine and every man should take enclo.

How funny. I just so happen to have a package of thawed ground Hawaii (Lanai) axis deer meat in the fridge. I'll give your recipe a try, along with sides of herb roasted veggies and wild rice mix.

BTW, love your impromptu bubble machine, and the "spoon" reference too.

Just a follow up. Your Mash was great. Easy, fast, wholesome. The accompaniment pan version of "harvest soup". A new application for sliced avo topping as well.

Axis is one the best eating venison, but the coarse grind limits recipe options (tacos, etc.). But next up I'm gonna try a Shepard's pie:

If avoiding starch/carbs, substitute a cauliflower rice/mash for potato as a topping. And even psyllium husk powder for flour based thickening agent if 100% Keto oriented.

Further refinement of the coarse grind would open up many more recipe options, but focusing next/beyond to a backstrap I have (whole meat is my preferred option). A while back, I had a version of this and it was phenomenal. Gonna give it try maybe next week.

I'm so glad you like it; thanks for the recipes! Food prep is fun and the absolute key to eating clean. It is the only way to know what you're actually putting in your body. Avocado is a great monster mash addition. I had it last night (also added some peppers for heat). I will try psyllium husk next round. which will help may it "mashier".
