Came across Rippetoe via Brett McKay's the Art of Manliness site a few years back. He's got a lot of great Rippetoe content on there if you haven't explored it.
Somewhat related, but Mark Twight used to have weekly posts, which he referred to as Sunday Sermons, on the old Gym Jones website. They were amazing but I'm not sure if they are available anywhere anymore. I may have to explore wayback machine a bit.
The Elite is terrific so far; plowing through it and eager to read his other ones. You nailed this suggestion; completely on point for the kinds of things I care about.
I am reading his book about conquering fear...which I need.....but you’re way past that one lol... I find his accomplishments and approach to success unique and truly remarkable ....
Will do; thanks for the suggestion. Just ordered 2 of his books -- The Elite and Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know. Any others you would particularly suggest? They all look awesome; I figure I'll plow through these two then consider his others.
