Some great ideas Chris; never thought of using a DAF! Another option is to start your generosity with 10% and increase it as your income increases. 10% may be a stretch for some but nothing for others.
I'm a bad multitasker (and suspect most people are too). I love hyper focusing on solving one thing at a time. With a DAF, you can pick how much you give and what you give. Then as a totally separate topic at your own leisure with no pressure decide where that money ultimately goes. I've been really happy about making higher quality, more thoughtful decisions with this structure.
