My liver levels always run a little high despite that I don’t drink more than about one drink a week and I was just looking into the Dose liver supplement, which is mostly milk thistle, turmeric and I think curcumin. Its hard to sort through the studies on these supplements. It seems like the studies are mixed as to whether milk thistle does very much.
I want a real paper before I pull the trigger on that one but want to do what I can to make sure I'm not creating some new problem in my organs with a big health/fitness push. It is possible that I just end up measuring with liver/kidney tests instead of having specific supplements for them.
Opened the post and saw the elevation chart and thought I was looking at stock market for a sec.
Ha! That could be the chart of so many stocks in 2022!
Chris, I think it would be interesting if why write about how you fuel your body during long runs.
Great question; will answer in next newsletter.
