I saw the cholesterol graph on twitter today (prob same account you saw it since you turned me on to following him). Interesting stuff. I’ve been following Saladino method for about a month now. Just got a bunch of blood work taken from Marek health so expecting my cholesterol to be up there.
Saladino is great; I really trust him. Will be interesting to see how cholesterol is. In terms of what I want to strictly control, I'm far more concerned with low, steady blood sugar.
Chris, most days you just do the work. I'm a 60 year old, trying to just maintain my physical condition. I know what happens to OG's who do not work out, they get frail. You are much younger, but around 45, I am guessing? We OG's need to work out just to maintain. You seem to be expecting great gains, but at 45, it gets very tough to make great gains in muscle mass and strength. You are in great shape. Enjoy it. Maintain it. But, you are not gonna be Mr. America in your mid-forties. Love your posts, please keep it up.
In a world where everyone seems to think they are the most important & interestingly unique character in the movie of their life..." I’m not suffering from different or more interesting problems than anyone else (I just doubly suffer from overanalyzing them) so it was time to just do the work." is the most refreshing thing we have read in months - especially from someone doing enviable things.
The more you lift and the heavier you go, the more minor things throw off your CNS. 5% off on 100lbs is 5lbs. 5% off on 400lbs is 20lbs. Some days the weights are heavy, but usually you tough through it and end up with a pr in a few weeks.
"...then rock climbing with my daughter." Then, it was a good day.
That was the highlight!

Yeah just turned 46. You are doubtlessly correct. Thanks for the encouragement.

The low, only in hindsight, was almost funny:
1) So am I lifting what I want in the way I want? No.
2) Okay, then do I have some fascinating and special excuse? No not that one either.
Either there's a win or an excuse or all this work to do... Ugh looks a whole lot like the third. %&#^&*4
