Never procrastinate. It isn’t stoic and it leaves you worse off. On each task, push yourself to the decision that you 1) don’t care so can stop worrying about it or 2) do something about it. Each day/week/month/year, force yourself to make that call. Finishing, as imperfect as the finish might be, allows you to start again the next morning.

Tomorrow morning is 90 minutes of hill repeats – 10% average include and less technical than our summer route, making it a bit safer with a lot of leaves on the ground.
Fueling
Had venison leg medallions for lunch a few times this week, hitting 96 grams of protein or almost half of my day’s worth.
Supplementing

Hold the line and maintain standards – percent body fat, lean muscle mass, and hormone levels in your 40s should be what they were in your 20s. There is no reason to lower your standards just because others your age let themselves go. First do what you can with behavior, then supplement with pharma to optimize performance and longevity.

I like this tool for measuring grip strength. At our gym’s Christmas party we had it out with a bottle of champagne for the winner (everything is a competition, even the Christmas party).
